Parts & Labour is an experiment devised by John Chilver and Brighid Lowe to reflect on the material conditions of art production. The emphasis, as the title says, is on labour. Recent debates have rightly underlined that both contemporary art and capital value immaterial labour above getting ones hands dirty. This project examines relations to material labour that artworks remain dependent on, though these are typically concealed and devalued. Camberwell Press produced a fold out exhibition pamphlet for the show, currently in the Camberwell Space.
Due to the concept of the show the fold out catalogue was minimal in content. This enabled the press designers to focus on the identity, taking reference from typographic advertisements featured in magazines, posters and local circulars from the early 20th century. They used the Bureau Grotesque typeface prominent from that time period. As the commercial sensibility remained evident through the relationship between the artist, producer and the work made, the header typeface enabled the identity to speak for itself and be bold upon the wall and in the catalogue.

Book launch for I used to be a design student, created by Brighten the Corners, Frank Philipin and Billy Kiosoglou. The launch takes place at Camberwell College of Arts where the inspiration began after a workshop led by Brighten the Corners for the BA Graphic Design students, which looked at the relationship between their student work and their development into professional practice. Le Fil presents his debut solo show 'Pop Sculpture: The Filosophy of Making', which will bring the spectacle of pop music into the art gallery context. Camberwell Space will be transformed into a multi-disciplinary platform ready for a pop sculptural reinvention. 'Pop Sculpture' features new songs, ceramics and sculptures created by Le Fil during his art residency at Vanguard Court Studios in Peckham.
