Detours is an exhibition showcasing the work of 11 artists who are participating the the 2011/12 AA2A (Artists' Access to Art Colleges) scheme at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon (CCW) colleges. The scheme represents a detour from the artists’ usual practice, in terms of location, materials and ideas. Even a slight shift from the norm can engender radical changes. The scheme provides mid-career artists with exposure to new environments, and offers access to alternative media and techniques, encouraging variety and diversity within their practices.
The Camberwell Press team were asked to produce a show catalogue for the event. Taken on by Freddy Williams, the publication took the shape of a newspaper print. Echoing the broadsheet and salmon colourways of the Financial Times, the large format allows for an anadulterated presentation of the work. As well as a generous amount of space to present the work inside, outside, the front and back covers fold out into a large scale poster.

Le Fil presents his debut solo show 'Pop Sculpture: The Filosophy of Making', which will bring the spectacle of pop music into the art gallery context. Camberwell Space will be transformed into a multi-disciplinary platform ready for a pop sculptural reinvention. 'Pop Sculpture' features new songs, ceramics and sculptures created by Le Fil during his art residency at Vanguard Court Studios in Peckham.
